There is nothing better than some good stretches coupled with a few limbering up exercises to fight stress and Free your back from any muscular tension. Stand up, legs together and taut, hands joined together at chest height. Breathe in deeply and press your palms together robustly before bending your knees slightly and bringing your arms out to the sides, breathing out slowly. Then straighten up, breathing in again and raise your arms above your head.
Join your hands together and stretch upwards and backwards as far as you can, breathing once more, at the same time as arching your back. Slowly return to the original position repeating the movement in reverse. Repeat the whole exercise ten times, keeping your tummy and buttocks nice and taut, to avoid damaging your lumbar muscles.
